Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Executive / adjunct Manager, Faculty Affairs (3 year contract, renewable)
The Senior Executive / adjunct Manager, Faculty Affairs will assist in the day-to-day efficient operation of the Office of Faculty Affairs. He/She will be involved in full-time faculty appointment and reappointments; staffing logistics; employee orientation; workplace management; compensation and benefits administration; promotion and tenure; data management; budgeting; as well as maintaining the Faculty Affairs policies and procedures. He/She will also assist in organising faculty staff welfare activities and any other OFA related projects.
Requirements: » A good degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
» At least 2 years’ significant working practice, preferably in the education and/or medical sector
» A good team player who takes initiative and is resourceful
» Proficient in office Information technology skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment
» Resilient, meticulous and analytical
» capability to handle multiple assignments concurrently (all with tight deadlines) and manage heavy flow of detailed information in a precise and timely manner
» Effective oral and written communication skills
» Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
» Attention to details

COMPANY OVERVIEW The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), a partnership between Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) and Imperial College London (Imperial), is training a generation of doctors who will put patients at the centre of their exemplary medical care. The School’s primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group, a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical skills, facilities and teaching. Named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian, the School, which was officially opened by Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean on 28 August 2017, is a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research.
Graduates of the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme that started in 2013 will have a strong knowledge of the scientific basis of medicine, along with interdisciplinary subjects including engineering, technology, business and the humanities. Its first doctors will graduate in 2018 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), awarded jointly by NTU Singapore and Imperial.
