Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description The Lien Centre for Palliative Care (LCPC) in Duke-NUS Medical School aims to be the premier palliative care research and educational centre in the region. With generous support from the Lien Foundation, strategic collaborations with the National Cancer Centre Singapore and the broader SingHealth institutes within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre, LCPC is poised for significant growth in the coming years.
We are pursuing a full time Research adjunct / Associate to assist the Principal Investigator, who is also the Executive Director of LCPC, in managing and executing a number of community or clinic-located randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and perform a variety of functions.
» Assist in the development of research projects.
» Lead and manage the execution of research projects, including liaison with co-investigators, collaborators and participants.
» Attend to the operational, administrative and logistical needs of research projects.
» Perform literature reviews and assist in writing of grant applications, study protocols, ethics approval applications and manuscripts.
» Conduct basic data analyses.
» Supervise casual workers and interns.
» Perform other related or additional tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Job Requirements » Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, economics, public health, or related discipline.
» Project management and research adjunct practice are highly desirable.
» Firm knowledge of research concepts, principles and challenges.
» Able and willing to work independently and take initiatives.
» Adaptable and effective problem-solver with good communication and writing expertise.
» Able to manage studies involving complex logistical issues.
