Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION You will be responsible in managing independently the research scope of work which involve planning, coordinating and conducting research study; managing and maintaining of research databases and providing data analytics. You will be expected to actively contribute to developing hypothesis and study design, and analyse data through application of scientific methods and data discovery tools.
You will also be expected to integrate and prepare large and varied datasets and be able to model complex research and operational concepts. You will discover insights and identify opportunities using statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques. You will assist with building specialized databases and computing environments, developing methodologies, performing analysis, summarizing results and developing conclusions.
Job Requirements - Masters/Bachelors in Statistics/Biostatistics/Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Behavioural or Life Sciences, Operations Research, Analytics, Computer Sciences or other quantitative disciplines
- Significant or substantial knowledge of statistical methods and modelling; machine learning, or data mining, text mining concepts and a track record of solving problems with these methods is preferred
- practice in big data techniques (such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, and Spark), deep learning, and any BI/Visualisation tool (such as Power BI, OBIEE, Tableau, etc.) is preferred
- Proficient in R/SAS/SPSS/Python
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise
- Strong team player
- capability to work proactively and independently
