Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities
» Ensure that all the policies and procedures pertaining to recruitment, employee discipline, income and benefits administration are consistently administered
» Provides advisory function to departments on full spectrum of HR policies and procedures
» Responsible to manage end to end of recruitment activities and on-boarding of new employees in Nursing and Resident Care positions
» Participate in career fairs and any trade events
» Monitor the monthly manpower turnover and manage the staffing needs so as to ensure departments’ manpower needs are met
» Conduct exit interviews and manage off boarding processes
» Ensure that the licences of nursing employees are current and valid. Undertakes the annual renewal of the nurses’ SNB practicing license
» Compile regular statistics on Nursing & Resident Care manpower, recruitment status, recruitment costs and other ad-hoc reports
» Compile, coordinate and responsible for reports submission to funders and other stakeholders
» Implement and review the effectiveness of recruitment programmes to ensure its relevance to meet the organisation strategic talent attraction plans
» Monitor the employment processes as to ensure compliance with local government regulations and professional occupational bodies
» Participate in the annual budgeting exercise with the preparation of worksheets for the department’s budget
» Supervise and mentor junior staff on their functions and responsibilities Requirements
» Tertiary Education or Diploma in HR Management or related fields
» Minimum 2 - 3 years’ significant practice with at least 2 years in managery function
» significant practice in recruiting the nursing profession preferred
» Exposure in community care sector is an added advantage
» Team player who’s able to exercise initiative, multitask and work independently
» Adaptable and able to work in a fast paced working environment
