Admin tasks
» Checking and receiving Medical documents
» Approval of medical related leave
» Compile everyday medical advice report
» File medical records
» Inform Time-keeping Office, HR Department and Section Managers pertaining to workers’ injury, sick and hospitalization leave
» Purchase and store medicine and consumables
» Assist new employee candidates and existing Retire- rehire employees with Pre-employment medical check-up self- declaration
» Assist HR in following-up with outcome of employment medical examination
» Assist HR in reviewing overseas medical documents belonging to employee family member for the request of Urgent Annual Leave application
» Assist in planning and implementation of health promotion events
» Review the work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
» contact with government health authorities & healthcare providers on workplace health matters
» Process medical bills for treatment, hospitalization of employees
» Handle medical purchases for medical center
» Process medical insurance claim for employees and their family members
Nursing tasks
» Register patients
» Screen patients (e.g. Check, weight, temperature, lungs auscultation- if the need arises)
» Prioritize patient Q- if need arises
» Prepare patient records
» Assist in-house doctor in examining patients and minor surgery
» Pack, check and dispense medicine as ordered by doctor
» Prepare check and administer medication through injections and intravenously as ordered by doctor
» Prepare check and administer medication through nebulizer as ordered by doctor
» Perform phlebotomy as ordered by doctor
» Label forms and make investigation and medical appointments as ordered by doctor
» Go through, chart and consolidate investigation results in patient records
» Review investigation results with Doctor after consultation
» Perform the changes that doctor ordered after reviewing the results
» Provide immediate first aid for illnesses and injuries arising from work during non-consultation hours
» Attend to OTC medication request
» Plan, conduct and follow-up on annual audiogram and respiratory program
» Conduct 6 monthly First Aid Box top up for company
Job Requirements » Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Nursing
» Registered Nurse and/or Enrolled Nurse
» Possess at least 1 year of significant working practice
» Possess first-aid and medical expertise on injury & disease and preventive healthcare measures
» Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
» Possess patient counselling skill
» Proficient in Microsoft Office
» Able to work OT during Weekdays, Weekends and Public Holidays
