Main Duties & Responsibilities They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Strategic Demand Planning Manager, who can essentially take ownership for the establishment of an effective demand forecast strategy to maintain optimum balance between demand and supply allocation to enable enhanced supply chain collaboration both internally and externally. You will also be responsible for developing new demand plans for assigned franchises, working with regional commercial, finance stakeholders as required.
Key responsibilities of this Individual Contributor Role, reporting to the Regional Director, Supply Chain Management include:
- Lead S&Op review meetings for the region, including ANZ, China etc, to optimally drive reliable forecast process and accuracy
- Define mid to long term action plans for the inventory management and stock safety levels by working closely with in-country demand planners
- Drive continuous improvement projects and ad-hoc scenarios e.g. unexpected seasonal spikes in the volume of finished goods forecast management
- Guide and mentor sub-region demand planners and managers to enable a streamlined demand planning processes in the region
- Ensure proper target setting initiatives to enable smooth daily demand and inventory planning operations for the assigned countries in APAC, in line with global demand and supply planning processes
Candidate Profile
Singapore • Permanent
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in either or both Commercial Finance Operations / Demand Forecasting or an end-to-end Supply Chain Planning role in a fast-moving and regulated environment
- Proven track record and experience in regional and commercial Demand & Supply Planning
- Excellent influencing & negotiation skills to drive process improvements to enhance & streamline SIOP process maturity
- Very good understanding of utilizing hybrid set of different planning systems and manual Microsoft Excel forecast planning to establish processes in regional Demand Forecast Accuracy
