Description HER WORLD, Singapore's Number One women's magazine equips today's stylish achiever with smart information on fashion, shopping, beauty, topical women's issues, relevant social trends, relationships and lifestyle pursuits. We are looking to hire the following; FASHION EDITOR As the Fashion Editor, you will manage the fashion section of the magazine, from conception stage to layout and production. Coming up with story ideas, assigning briefs and coordinating stories and shoots are your main responsibilities. The role includes: • Minimum 6 years of experience in print and digital publishing/media and or newspaper journalism. • At least 2 years of experience supervising a team. • Knowledge of design layouts and sub-editing. • Well read and tuned-in to current affairs, popular culture, women's fashion and beauty trends, as well as trends in social and digital media. • Possesses a commercial mind. • Good interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities - Styling editorial and advertorial fashion and beauty spreads for website and print.
- Styling and Producing fashion videos - and appearing in video.
- Liaising with clients on fashion advertorials for website and video.
- Writing accurate fashion captions plus fashion writing for shopping pages and website posts.
- Booking and managing crews, interns and freelancers.
- Attending fashion events - some international travel, after hours work and weekend work is required
