To lead, design, develop, maintain and promote quality websites for the University.
- Lead a team of Web Publishing shared service staff and ensure that agreed service levels are achieved.
- Review service levels and performance report with faculty leadership regularly for continual improvement.
- Provide project management and technical support to the Office of University Communications in the development and maintenance of the main NUS corporate website and other university-related websites under its charge.
- Work with the Digital Communications team in developing strategies for online marketing/branding campaigns and projects and ensure that concepts and requirements are effectively translated into quality websites using the latest web technology and development tools available.
- Develop, maintain and enhance existing websites for the University.
- Design and implement user-driven templates and Web interfaces for ease of use.
- Undertake the technical administrative functions in the maintenance and management of various Content Management System (CMS) technologies under the web team's charge.
- Provide technical advice to the webmasters and developers from the other NUS faculties, departments and institutes, and helps them troubleshoot technical issues they encounter for web-related projects.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related degree required
- 6 - 8 years experience working in education, advertising, web service or similar field required
- Experience in developing and maintaining CMS such as Sitefinity, Joomla, Drupal, and Wordpress
- Experience in developing responsive websites
- Knowledgeable in Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Photoshop
- Able to conduct user training and documentation
- The candidate must be proactive, a good team player and must be passionate on developing and maintaining quality websites
- Demonstrated knowledge of new technological trends and familiar with latest online (web and new media) technology and development tools
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
