As a manager/senior manager, you will develop communications & engagement strategies & plans and be responsible for the execution of those strategies & plans using appropriate and fit-for-purpose methods/techniques to engender support. We are seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to join our Government Business Operations team to support the various Products/Services with their communications and engagement endeavours, out-reach efforts and management of change activities with key stakeholders such as agencies and users across the Whole-of-Government. As a manager/senior manager, you will develop communications & engagement strategies & plans and be responsible for the execution of those strategies & plans using appropriate and fit-for-purpose methods/techniques to engender support, decrease resistance and/or improve awareness to the programmes of Products and Services. You will be expected to collaborate closely with other Groups/Divisions to develop the appropriate strategies, plans and intervention techniques required. You should be a highly driven, self-motivated and a self-starting individual who is able to develop the necessary strategies & plans, implement the interventions required and provide practical assessment to meet the communications and engagement needs for the various programmes of Products and Services to achieve the desired outcomes for these programmes specified by Products and Services. What to Expect: Develop, prepare and recommend the appropriate communications & engagement strategies and plans for Products and Services. Develop, prepare and recommend the appropriate communications & engagement interventions and measurements for Products and Services. Develop, prepare and present required papers, communiques and presentation slides to stakeholders. Track, manage and report against status of communications and engagement activities and tasks. Report, review and analyse defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) achieved with communications & engagement plans and interventions. Ensure that all programme queries are dealt with on behalf of Products and Services with appropriate and within agreed protocols. Draft, agree and distribute communication work products in line with agreed communications & engagement plans and any other communications & engagement work products as required. Provide support for communications & engagement activities for Products and Services. Maintain and manage the various communications & engagement channels and platforms. Document and maintain requisite communications & engagement workflows and processes as part of Quality Management process. Be involved in any other ad-hoc projects, as required. How to Succeed: At least a Bachelor Degree in Business/Mass Communications/Marketing, or related fields. Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, with minimum 3 years in management role. Working proficiency in MS Office products. Strong communicator - able to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels and manage stakeholders. Able to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently. Able to manage around complexities surrounding people, processes and tools. Familiarity with Government-centric communications protocol preferred but not mandatory. Working knowledge with procurement and vendor management is an added advantage. Working knowledge of project management is an added advantage. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for Web editing, publishing and web portal management tools is an added advantage. Prior copywriting, authorship, design and editorial experiences for communications materials, including developmental editing, copy editing, proofreading, fact checking, layout, and design preferred.
