Job Description As a Graphic Designer/ Senior Graphic Designer in the Design Office, Communications and Engagement Group, you will be part of the team producing or commissioning content to support MOE's messaging on internal and external platforms.
Your key responsibilities include: - Working with and transforming datasets and complex information into elegant, rich, and effective visual products to communicate concepts and content to stakeholders
- Working with a creative team to conceptualise, plan, and execute print and online campaigns for public communications and online marketing initiatives through the Ministry's platforms, including online and social media
- Conceptualising and producing collaterals such as infographics, images, design and layout of print publications
- Producing innovative digital ideas and content for stakeholders
- Directing visuals and photography for public communications
- Leading on the design of internal publications and supervising vendors
- Providing consultation, strategic advice and training to MOE divisions and schools on the use of social media platforms for stakeholder engagement
Requirements - Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience in publishing, graphic design, visual communications or advertising
- Possess a strong portfolio of work in graphic design, data visualisation and infographics
- Proficient in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop as well as Microsoft Office
- Good working knowledge of social media platforms and online analytics, and conversant with photography and videography
- A team player with strong project management, communication, presentation and concept development skills
- A self-motivated individual who is able to work well in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Experience in online marketing and engagement or editorial writing would be an advantage
