Senior Executive / Manager (Video Production), Community Partnership & Communications Group

As a Senior Executive / Manager (Video Production) in the Community Partnership and Communications Group (CPCG), you will be part of the Corporate Communications team producing engaging multimedia content for all MHA digital platforms to communicate key MHA initiatives as well as to project the Home Team brand to inspire trust and confidence among HT officers and the Public.
Responsibilities - Work independently with internal and external partners to develop engaging video content to communicate MHA key messages to stakeholders and engage social communities;
- Oversee all aspects of production, including research, pitch, script, shoot, edit and produce video content suitable for various social media platforms to effectively tell the Home Team's story;
- Innovate with new visual storytelling ideas and edit techniques to stay ahead of the ever-changing social media landscape;
- Track digital content performance to ensure content is engaging; and
- Train and mentor junior team members on production skills and techniques to push creative boundaries.
Job requirements - Tertiary qualification preferably in Film, Broadcast, Digital Media, Mass Communications or related fields;
- A strong portfolio with at least 2 years of experience in producing video content for social media and online platforms, including a good track record in telling human-interest and emotive stories through videos;
- Excellent in camera fieldwork and cinematography techniques, with a creative flair in script writing and video editing;
- Excellent oral and written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels within the organisation;
- Expertise in mobile filmmaking and operating equipment such as cameras, audio recorders and lighting;
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and other digital media production tools;
- Good project management skills and a keen interest in producing video content for online platforms;
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram) and ability to apply social media best practices to develop social media strategies, optimise content publishing and digital engagement; and
- Self-directed and able to manage multiple video projects simultaneously with a high-level of independence and capable of working effectively in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
