As a Senior Executive / Manager (Social Media & Web) in the Community Partnership and Communications Group (CPCG), you will be part of the Corporate Communications team to drive and implement digital engagement and content strategies for all MHA digital platforms in order to communicate key MHA initiatives, profile HT's work and enhance MHA's social media presence.
Responsibilities - Plan and develop digital content strategies for MHA's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter) and website, towards building and promoting a strong MHA's social media presence;
- Oversee the day-to-day social media communications, which includes researching social media content ideas, creating content, developing impactful social media creatives, managing social media feedback and drafting social media posts to build a consistent voice and online persona that align to the MHA brand;
- Maintain social media content calendar and ensure appropriate deadlines for content creation and social media publishing;
- Track and analyse digital content performance, including web analytics on a daily basis to guide the ongoing optimisation of MHA's social media presence;
- Manage and produce effective Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) content for MHA corporate website and social media platforms; and
- Develop, implement, and maintain MHA corporate website's Search Engine Optimization (SEO) standards and best practices with regard to user behavior; relevancy and content; and website popularity and visibility, with the goal of developing user personas and website architecture that increases website usability and user engagement.
Job requirements - Tertiary qualification preferably in Mass Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Journalism or related fields
- A strong portfolio with at least 2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, digital content production and website management
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, HTML and other digital media production tools
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram) and ability to apply social media best practices to develop social media strategies, optimise content publishing and digital engagement
- Excellent communication skills and strong writing skills with experience in writing for web and social media
- Experience in producing digital content such as simple videos, photos and infographics
- Possess strong analytical skills and a good knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Google analytics and social media insights, to assess the effectiveness of digital content, identify areas for improvement and report on key performance indicators and return on investment
- Ability to manage multiple digital projects simultaneously with a high-level of independence and capable of working effectively with others
All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
