An exciting opportunity for an experienced and resourceful Desktop Publisher to join the Macquarie Capital Marketing and Communications Asia team, based in Singapore.
Working as part of our regional in-house marketing team, you will provide desktop publishing and visual communications support to deal executives and contribute to the production of a wide range of high-quality marketing collateral. You'll combine your proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite to produce creative content layouts, template and poster designs, impactful pitchbooks and engaging conference screen-shows. Contributing to high profile transactions, development projects and conference events, you will be self-motivated, flexible and resilient while working within tight timeframes.
A role in the Marketing and Communications team will expose you to a fast-paced environment and a wide variety of work, including opportunities to work on a diverse mix of challenging creative projects. Whether working jointly with a Marketing Manager or directly with internal clients, you will take ownership of your deadlines and deliverables.
To be successful in the role, you'll be proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced PowerPoint and Word skills and some experience editing and creating charts in Excel. You'll also have some familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
You'll have a creative eye, underpinned by some knowledge of design fundamentals, with foundation studies in visual communications (or similar) and relevant experience working in a corporate in-house design/presentation preparation environment.
Macquarie values collaboration and teamwork so excellent communications skills, and the ability to work as a team and build relationships, is essential. You'll be collaborating with other designers on a wide range of marketing collateral and contributing to concept development and design briefs, including large format print, digital assets, promotional flyers and posters.
