JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities 1) Group Consolidation & Reporting
- Assist in Group consolidation for a global company with over 15,000 employees working across a network of 122 offices in more than 40 countries worldwide
- Prepare Group Monthly Management Reporting and ensure timely and accurate reporting to Management and Board
- Assist in the co-ordination of the Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting exercises of the Group
2) Statutory Compliance
- Assist in the financial year-end process which includes co-ordination with all Group entities for reporting and the preparation of Group financial statements
- Assist in periodic announcements of Group financial results, in compliance with regulatory requirements for the Company’s public listed financial instruments
- Assist in quarterly and year-end reporting to shareholder, Temasek Holdings
- Co-ordinate on any Purchase Price Allocation exercise required for acquisitions of the Group
- Drive changes required for new FRS and ensure compliance by all group entities
- Identify weak internal controls and propose mitigating measures to strengthen these areas
3) ERP Implementation
- Assist in new ERP system implementation and process harmonisation for the Group.
- Work with IT ERP team to drive systems implementation /integration of new/acquired entities with the Group.
4) Ad-hoc duties assigned
- Co-ordinate and liaise with newly acquired companies for integration of financial policies and reporting
- Review of policies and continual process re-engineering
- Assist with analysis of financial information and group reporting as required
- Other ad hoc items as they arise
Requirement - Accountancy degree or its equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Experience in consolidation preferred
- Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Good communication skills
- Works well independently and in a team
- Excellent written and oral skills is a must
- Group eperience will be preferred
