Manage the AML Program within Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and supervise all AML related compliance matters, including without limitation governmental or regulatory filings, queries, approvals, and AML related investigations.
Identify strengths and deficiencies among CAML Team Members and mentor the CAML Team.
Effectively assign the work load to members of the CAML Team.
Plan and manage special projects directed by senior Management.
Co-ordinate with Management Team to monitor and review policy development and setup etc.
Liaise and communicate with Senior CRA Management on regulatory matters.
Keep records of committee minutes and governmental filing requirements.
Manage legal/or compliance related matters separately assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer and work with relevant departments with regard to various AML issues and advise on appropriate courses of actions, preventative or remedial measures when necessary.
Work closely with the MBS operational teams on site to allow necessary support, assessment of risk and to give advice/feedback on a timely basis.
Provide support and training to subordinates on CAML.
Cover AML related duties of the Chief Compliance Officer in his/her absence.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Certified license(s), such as license in practicing law or C.P.A. in relevant jurisdiction.
ACAMS certificate is preferred.
Experience in regulatory interpretation, regulatory filing, and regulatory dealing.
Minimum five years' experience in banking environment and experienced in regulatory interpretation, regulatory filing, and regulatory dealing.
Gaming or gaming compliance experience preferred.
Five years in a supervisory or managerial position, preferably in a hotel/casino environment.
Demonstrated experience in Human Resources and people management.
Must have the ability to work under pressure, to make decisions, and to take proactive actions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills required
