We are a stealth mode start-up working out of a reputed VC's incubator in Silicon Valley. Started by 3 graduate students from Stanford who also have degrees from NUS, SUTD, and MIT and work experiences in consulting, banking, FinTech, and large tech (Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft).
We are trying to solve the problem of microinvesting. Our research shows that young people in Southeast Asia do not actively invest their savings. This is because it is hard to do and might be costly to do. We want to change this by allowing people to invest as little as $30 into the public markets at a low cost.
We have started building our product and are hiring a team in Singapore to prepare for a launch. We will be moving to Singapore in August to pursue this full time after completing the incubator program and fundraising.

We are looking for an intern to help us with customer insights, which will include both qualitative and quantitative customer research:
Job responsibilities could include:
- Scoping and designing customer research which could include questionnaire writing, data management, survey programming, survey fielding, data cleaning, data analysis and presentation
- Conduct user interviews using design thinking methodologies
- Augment user research with market research
- Design and launch survey
- Analyse survey results
- Synthesise quantitative and qualitative research to provide recommendations
- Conduct user testing of the product with users
- Collate feedback and provide recommendations to business
