Job Description Reporting to the Group Marcom Manager, the Graphic Designer will support the company’s wide marketing strategies and actions through the development and production of marketing materials, sales collateral, point of sales content, trades how materials and other design needs to improve brand presence, market share, guest engagement and drive revenue performance in all business locally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Manage the design process from conceptualisation to production for all the Group brands. Work with requestors closely by briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescale.
- Develop creative ideas and concepts based on the brief.
- Liaise with requestor’s to determine their requirements and budget where applicable.
- Lead and oversee photography projects for special events and tactical promotions, company events and company-wide photography.
- Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites
- Liaise with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality
- Plan, prepare and execute social media tasks and campaigns
- Manage image library
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS - Proven ability to create and direct high-quality creative (portfolio required).
- Expert in all aspects of developing creative in a digital, product or user-centric space.
- Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of proven graphic designing experience
- Posses creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Strong communications, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, independently to adhere to tight deadlines
- Knowledge and familiarity with industry leading software and thecnologies
- Strong organisational skills in time and cost management
- Knowledge of different productions processes and ability to manage multiple vendors at any one time
- Copywriting and copy vetting skills will be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Self motivated
- Results driven
