Job Description Looking for Writer/Videographer/Creative/Events/Research Writer.
(6-months internships. Starting from July)
1. Writer (Lifestyle / News)
- Ideate and pitch stories of quality to editors.
- Write articles consistent with the tone and quality of the Company’s articles.
- Attend events, tastings, and other out of office jobs that assist in the creation of articles.
2. Video Producer (TSL & Sister sites)
- Help conceptualize, film and edit videos that will be posted on the Company’s YouTube channel. Ideate to some extent to conceptualize video and editorial ideas.
- Help out in miscellaneous video production roles. Carrying equipment, helping with audio / light, etc.
3. Creative Interns
- Photography for editorial and social media, creating and curating visuals for media events, food tastings, sports, fashion, lifestyle etc.
- Videography: To assist the team in producing videos for TSL’s Facebook and other channels. To assist in creative projects like stop motion, cinemagraphs etc.
4. Eatbook Writer
- Write food reviews, guides, and news stories
- Pitch new and interesting eateries around Singapore
- Appear as a talent in video reviews
Job requirements - Passionate about food
- Good knowledge of the food scene in Singapore
- Ability to write fast and well
- Ability to cook is a bonus
5. Eatbook Video Producer
- Produce, film and edit videos of food
- Shoot and edit photos of food
- Pitch video ideas related to food in Singapore
Job requirements - Passionate about food
- Good knowledge of the food scene in Singapore
- Good knowledge of the YouTube scene
- Basic proficiency in mirrorless cameras
- Basic proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Lightroom
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects is a bonus
- Ability to cook is a bonus
6. Zula Writer
- Write lifestyle guides and news stories
- Pitch new and interesting lifestyle stories suitable for millennial women
Job requirements - Ability to write fast and well
- Good knowledge of events and happenings in Singapore
7. Zula Video Producer
- Produce, film and edit videos for our YouTube channel
- Shoot and edit photos for our Instagram and/or website
- Pitch video ideas suitable for our YouTube channel
Job requirements - Passionate in learning about videography
- Good knowledge of the YouTube scene
- Basic proficiency in mirrorless cameras
- Basic proficiency in DaVinci Resolve
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects is a bonus
8. Events Intern
- Assist the department in all aspects of work from mostly event management and PR liaising but also misc duties like proofreading YouTube copy etc.
- Full event management from conceptualizing to tear-down.
9. Research Writer (WikiSG)
- In-depth research and writing on all things Singaporean. Topics can range from the brand history of Tiger Beer to the documentation of the lesser known Tai Thean Kew Circus.
- Scriptwriting for Wiki.sg animations. This could range from “Is There Wax in Instant Noodles” to “Sir Stamford Raffles: The Monster”.
- Ideation and pitching.
