As a Senior eLearning Course Developer are responsible for creating on-line modern responsive eLearning modules. You know all the ins and outs of using the Adobe Captivate toolsets and how this product might or might not be helpful during a design and development process.You have a passion for the on-line eLearning and understand the unique possibilities involved in bringing these projects to life.
Key Responsibilities - Delivery of eLearning course modules that use techniques such as animations, innovative interactions, video snippets and deliver to different output devices using Responsive techniques.
- Be able to communicate conceptual and technical eLearning solutions that include the use of the Adobe Captivate toolsets.
- Analyze client requirements to develop functional, design and technical requirements
- Collaborate closely with Creative, UX design and Content professions in the design and delivery of the end-to-end solution
- Work within an Agile team ; quickly iterate as needed, optimizing the team workflow for effective yet efficient designs
- Contribute to the planning process from conceptual design to implementation and roll-out
- Participate in team activities and team planning with the aim of improving team skills, awareness and quality of work
- Ensure product quality, maintainability, performance and scalability
Qualifications
- A University degree and a minimum 3 years of instructional design experience
- A personal portfolio linked on the top of your resume. Please share a sample of eLearnings projects or anything relevant you'd like to share pertaining to this role.
- A background in adult learning and instructional design would be of advantage
- Familiarity with design thinking, UX, and/or video production.
- A creative spirit with a design drive
- Experience with LMS environments, and in particular, Adobe Captivate and with experience of the Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, Design and XD.
- Experience with other eLearning authoring and frameworks (Articulate etc) will also be of advantage.
- Knowledge, in particular, of the SCORM formats, but knowledge of the other main e-learning formats (.MP4, xAPI ).
- A working knowledge of HTML5/CSS/JS using the principles of Responsive Design
- The ability to recommend a best approach based on the uniqueness of each situation.
- A familiarity with configuration management systems, such as GIT.
- A familiarity with using project management applications day-to-day such a Jira & Confluence
