You will support the development, implementation and communications of sector engagement and outreach strategies and programmes to uplift the image and quality of the early childhood (EC) sector, through professional partnerships with key stakeholders.
In particular, you will work with ECDA Fellows (pinnacle leaders in the sector) to develop, execute and review strategies to expand and strengthen the Community of EC Leaders, in order to build capability of the fraternity and drive quality improvement in the sector. Your key responsibilities include the following:
- To conceptualise, organise and review professional/leadership development platforms for the Community of EC Leaders;
- To conceptualise, develop and review effectiveness of regular leadership development resources e.g. e-newsletters for EC Leaders;
- To expand and strengthen the fraternity of the EC leaders community;
- To work closely with the ECDA Fellows to increase their presence/influence to help bring about greater quality improvements in the sector.
Requirement Functional/Technical Competencies - Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Mass Communications, Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, or equivalent
- Excellent project and event management skills
- Experience with traditional and new media marketing will be an advantage
