Job Description INTERN (Marketing & Communications)
Duration – 6 months starting ASAP
(we will consider shorter periods if necessary)
You will learn about:
- Real world considerations in a corporate environment
- Branding principles and processes
- Golden rules of event organisation
- Media management
- Internal communications
- Business Development
- CMS and CRM systems
- The importance of having a team-centred culture
You will be busy with:
- Thought leadership/social events: Assist with organisation, logistics and ideas for client events, including a large marquee event.
- Milestone branding project: Assist with research and ideas
- Media management: Media tracking and records, join media discussions
- Mailing list/Client database: Clean up our mailing and other lists. Test the client database system.
- Marketing materials: Update, proof, design, prepare credentials & marketing materials, including ads and website
- Others: Research and admin. Assist team members with other duties
Qualities you would have:
- Undergraduate/ fresh graduate from a reputable university/polytechnic
- Keen interest in Marketing, Communications, Events and Business Development
- Impeccable writing skills, good grammar, and a keen eye for details
- Intelligent, resourceful, with creative inclination
- Resilient, and able to seize all opportunities to learn
- Have high standards
- Likes people
