Our ideal candidate is a responsible candidate who would like to have a hands-on experience on expanding knowledge on our fleet of sound system and equipment.
What You Will Learn: - Firsthand experience at handling various brands of professional sound systems, musical instruments and amplifiers.
- Coaching by experienced sound engineers on techniques of handling sound system, cabling, and digital/analog mixer consoles
- Exposure to Singapore’s live music performers – artistes, singers, musicians, emcees, etc.
- How to manage time-sensitive assignments, events and projects
- Exposure to audio and video editing softwares such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere, Logic Pro, etc.
- Much more – your will work closely with our Director of Operations and other team leaders.
Job Description Job Description - Assist the operations department with any technical rider arrangements for live bands' performances/events
- Assist event with setup, teardown and soundcheck and actual day event work
- Supporting digital content creation for the organization for social media platforms, etc.
- Photography and videography shooting at events
- Post-production works for audio, photo and video
- Administration work and support to the sales and admin department on non-events work day
- Management and rostering of crew work
If candidate is suitable, the intern position is convertible to full time employment after the program.
Criteria - We prefer candidates with 3.0 GPA and above
- Well-groomed, team player and pleasant personality candidates
- Have passion for audio/music/sound and events
- Responsible, grounded and self-motivated individual
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills of the English language
- Prior experience to audio/sound/music will be a bonus but not necessary
- Possessing manual class “3” driving license will be a bonus
- Commitment of 44 hours per week
- Confirmed applicants will receive attractive remunerations of $700 onwards per month. Overtime (OT) will be paid at $8 to $10 per hour.
While knowledge in relevant field serves as a bonus for the position, we also welcome students who have no prior experience BUT an absolute positive attitude towards learning new skills.
