In line with the School's efforts to train future-ready doctors and nurses, this role will provide strong administrative support to the design, development, and implementation of new curriculum components while ensuring that they are aligned to the education mission and strategic priorities of NUS Medicine. These efforts will expand the scope of the curriculum to ensure the future-readiness of our students, including topics such as health informatics and health economics. They will also seek to increase learning effectiveness through the use of technology and other pedagogical innovations.
As part of the Curriculum Planning and Development team, your responsibilities will be to:
1) Provide administrative and operational support for the design, pilot and roll out of new education initiatives related to curricular enhancements in the following areas:
i) Curriculum Committees and Workgroups:
Facilitate discussions for workgroups and support close collaboration between different groups of educators to design, review, develop and implement education programs.
Plan and monitor timelines to ensure that milestones are tracked and tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
Perform secretariat duties for curriculum-related committees and workgroups.
Support and facilitate the review and further development of education programs by various committees and workgroups.
ii) Curriculum Improvement:
Curate and maintain the repository of learning activities in the online learning management system.
Collect, manage and analyse relevant data to enable data-driven decision-making.
2) Provide on-site operational support for NUS Medicine clinical exams and other activities critical to our education mission.
3) Discharge any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications Requirements: Degree holder with at least 3 years of working experience, preferably in the higher education industry.
A strong team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Meticulous and detail-oriented with good project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
A positive, can-do attitude, intellectual curiosity and a strong service mindset.
Good interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
Demonstrated proficiency with data manipulation and analytics within an academic or healthcare setting would be preferred.
