Be Part of the SINDA Youth Club SINDA Youth Club is a dynamic, semi-autonomous youth club seeking to enable Confident, Active & Passionate Young Indian Leaders who will Catalyze Positive Change. In order to enable that, SYC creates diverse learning and leadership opportunities for Indian Youth in Singapore. SYC is anchored by an executive committee of 15 Youth Leaders (Volunteers) who design and lead various initiatives focused on self, team and thought leadership. JOB DESCRIPTION: Oversee and manage SYC Secretariat and guide them in implementing new youth leadership programmes as laid out by the SYC executive committee members Provide mentorship and identify development opportunities for SYC Secretariat Oversee the development of SYC Strategic Thrusts Provide evaluative feedback on projects Implement short-term and long-term projects as developed by the SYC committee and ensure delivery of initiatives in a timely fashion Monitor the impact and outcome of SYC’s programmes on youth Provide Secretariat support to the SINDA Youth Club Monitor Marketing and Outreach efforts for youth programmes Coordinate youth volunteer efforts in SYC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Passionate about developing youth leadership opportunities, Strong interest in community service, volunteerism, youth engagement and development. Minimum degree in any discipline Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a youth related sector Possess a macro perspective of issues and an eye for details Possess excellent planning & project management skills Able to build a connection and demonstrate empathy towards the youth Proactive, pleasant personality and a team player with the ability to work with and manage dynamic volunteers and youth leaders Proactive in identifying solutions Good writing, communication, and creative and critical thinking skills. Proficient in MS Office Familiarity with graphic designing using Adobe would be an advantage Available to work on weekday evenings and weekends when required.
