Job Responsibilities - Interface with the highest levels of the organization.
- Schedules travel for company passengers in company and contract aircraft.
- Schedules travel and accommodation for flight crew and aviation team members.
- Schedules company aircraft for flights and maintenance.
- Ensures aircraft and crew can operate into foreign countries and airports
- Assess aircraft runway capability prior to scheduling flights
- Logs flight times and keeping departmental flight records.
- Manage Crew Rostering and Licensing requirements in relation to the Scheduling role, including leave management, and forward planning of aircraft coverage
- Keeps passenger manifests and logs for all flights
- Data management relating to regulatory Authority No Fly Lists.
- Obtains for flight crew, any necessary permits or visas when flying into and out of foreign countries.
- Assist flight crew where required to arranges catering services for flights.
- Coordinates with Fixed Base Operators (FBO's) , Ground Handling companies, VIP / CIP Terminals, and Trip Support Providers.
- Facilitate charter aircraft (supplemental lift) requests as and when directed
- Meet and Greet arriving and departing passengers to ensure a smooth transition between different modes of transport
Job Requirements Education & Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent - University degree preferred
- 21 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in Singapore
Experience - Candidates with a current Aviation schedule / dispatch background are preferred
- Have interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
- Maintain a professional neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to MBS and departmental appearance standards.
- Maintain consistent adherence to the LVS and MBS Unmatched Guest Service Standards.
Competencies - Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English, both in oral and written form
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and provide afterhours support
- Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks assigned
- Must be able to address stressful situations with clients and or fellow team members with dignity and the utmost fact and politeness
- Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe manner, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness, and disposal methods that comply with all local laws and / or regulation
- Maintain a positive attitude towards work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner
