Engineer Global End User Compute Modern Workspace Services

This position will administer, troubleshoot and maintain software and desktop management tools for the global organization comprising of approximately 13,000 end user devices.

The position of Engineer Global End User Compute Modern Workspace Services sits within the global Information, Communications & Technology (ICT) team, taking overall direction from the Manager of Global End User Compute Modern Workspace Services and will be tasked to support, configure and maintain a good working computing environment alongside the undertaking of daily support of the Ivanti Endpoint Management system. This position will maintain a healthy and fitting set of desktop hardware and software standards and solutions not only for our APAC region but globally.

The successful candidate will have broad technical knowledge and the ability to bridge between technical and non-technical colleagues. Candidates must have a proven track record of high attention to detail and a dependable, results-focused history of execution success.

Your responsibilities

• Support client update- and rollout projects in different countries
• Troubleshooting directly with internal and external teams
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and monitor BCD Travel´s software management solution (Ivanti EPM)

• Maintain Ivanti EPM provisioning templates (OSD|Imaging)
• Optimizing the usability, performance and security of BCD Travel's Desktops, Notebooks, Printers, Applications, Software Packaging & Delivery
• Maintain service and support documentation
• Ensure a robust End User Desktop environment;

• OS imaging & maintenance standards
• Software packaging and distribution
• Desktop patch management
• Hardware & Software standards

• Document and discuss complex end user compute solutions in a simple language that is understandable at all levels both within and outside of ICT.
• Define, implement and maintain Desktop policies, standards and procedures with supporting documentation.
• Ability to work effectively across departmental boundaries.

• Working actively on support tickets
• Solve packaging request independently
• Providing quality support in a timely fashion towards internal and external customers.

We're looking for you if your profile matches the following:

• More than 5 years of technical experience in a global ICT environment.
• Experience with Endpoint management solutions (preferably Ivanti EPM).
• Detailed Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office suite of products.
• Proven ability to drive initiatives to completion.
• Broad technical knowledge across End User Compute functional area.
• Very good written and oral English communication skills.
• Possess the ability to create, maintain and enforce written policies and procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time both nationally and internationally.

• Relevant technical certifications such as ITIL certification will be an advantage.
