We are currently looking for an Associate Director, Human Resources to join our Singapore office. The successful candidate will lead the Singapore people team and drive key HR projects across the Zalora group in the South East Asia region.
To be successful in this role, you are great at thinking strategically, developing and driving various HR projects and building strong relationship with stakeholders. You have a strong track record in developing and deploying HR initiatives in the region on a broad spectrum that include total rewards, process optimization, talent management and talent acquisition. The role reports to the HR Director and collaborates closely with the Chief People Officer and HR COE leads of the Zalora Group of Companies.
Responsibilities: Singapore Country HR Leadership:
- Be the go-to HR Business Partner and Team Leader for the Singapore market to drive regional and local HR plans and projects.
- Shape the culture to align with Zalora goals & initiatives by supporting & coaching Line managers in their implementation of core people processes.
- Work with leaders to define team and organizational development needs to design and facilitate delivery of solutions.
- Ensure and support talent acquisition, performance and talent management initiatives with a hands-on ability to take on activities, during high business growth months.
- Collaborate with CoE (Center of Expertise) to execute flawlessly on initiatives and projects that support business plans.
- Implement scheduled processes of compensation, promotion cycles, performance management, learning calendars and scheduled activities across the region.
- Handle complex employee relations at Singapore with flawless management of people processes, including oversight of local payroll and reports.
- Guide and develop the people operations team at Singapore, by being a strong subject matter expert in policies, legislation, people operations and analytics.
Regional Projects, Zalora Group:
- Be the go-to project management leader for regional HR transformation initiatives.
- Build and coordinate HR project plans in collaboration with HR teams across the region to setup, optimize or transform people processes.
- Develop and deploy key strategic people initiatives by working closely with HR leaders across the region.
- Design and analyze data-driven insights to inform and influence decisions on people management.
- Work closely with the regional HR Director, HR COE Leads and Chief People Officer to make a visible impact through key projects.
Requirements: - At least 7 to 10 years of total experience in human resources, with at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner.
- Experience in leading and coaching country-level HR Operations team.
- Proven track record in delivering complex HR projects at regional level.
- Experience in core domains of HR Operations, Total Rewards and Talent Management.
- Experience in large ecommerce firms or equivalent fast paced environment.
