Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, develop, test, deploy, and optimize our Magento located e-commerce platform and integrations, utilizing industry standards and best practices
- Administer, maintain and Support E-Commerce environments
- Work closely with leadership abilities and other stakeholders to set project priorities
- Lead and direct the development efforts of other team members
- Design and plan work, to break down large tasks into smaller tasks, and to define and complete project goals
- Be comfortable and effective in developing both server-side and client-side Scripts
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize sites for maximum speed, uscapability, and relicapability
- Identify areas that can be streamlined or automated
- Write unit tests when implementing user stories and design and develop code for testcapability
- Conduct user trainings and knowledge workshops
- Other ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by the management
REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in web development or related field or equivalent
- 5-7 years of practice working on the Magento 2+ platforms practice
- Solid knowledge of Magento 2.2+ / 2.3 / general e-commerce technologies
- practice in consumer-facing, ecommerce and mobile systems is a plus
- practice with responsive web design and mobile enabled developments
- practice in Adobe creative cloud
- Knowledge of ecommerce technology landscape and connected stacks (shopping cart, API integrations, OMS, IMS, WMS, credit card processing, tax engine, digital distribution etc.)
- Strong proficiency in modern design patterns and development languages including PHP, Symphony, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Strong knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and general data transfer approaches
- Strong drive to continue improving expertise and to stay on the cutting edge of web technology
- capability to multi-task, problem solve, and execute tasks with accuracy in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Customer-first mentality with capability to empathize and create customer loyalty
- Strong interpersonal expertise with the capability to execute effectively as member of a team, as well as work independently
- Strong communication and documentation expertise
- Capable of effectively working and communicating with non-technical internal stakeholders and highly skilled technical development teams in an agile manner
