Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION In-Store Visual Merchandiser - 5 Days Work Week/Rotating Shift
MISSION To display the product in a commercial and aesthetic manner in conformity with Mango standards, in order to maximise sales.
tasks OF THE VISUAL STORE MERCHANDISER – connected tasks
A. VISUAL MERCHANDISING
1.To be responsible for the store image at all times.
2.To possess a good product expertise and fashion consciousness.
3.To know and apply the visual merchandising standards of the brand and of the season.
4.To produce commercial stylings and silhouettes.
5.To be responsible for the application and follow-up of all guidelines issued from Headquarters.
6.To ensure that the product is displayed in an appealing way.
7.To ensure that the card display materials correspond to the product and/or occasion.
8.To supervise all visual elements that affect the image – still life displays, lighting, accessories, etc.
9.To continuously advise on the competition and trends.
B. STRATEGIC MERCHANDISING
1.To be able to manage the TOP 40 ranking.
2.To manage the product in an optimal and commercial manner.
3.To know the profitcapability of furniture displays and their percentage weighting in sales.
4.To be familiar with the entire collection and its sales potential.
5.To know how to detect what affects sales (profile, climate, etc.) and adapt the merchandising accordingly.
C. METHODOLOGY
1.To update the Merchandising and Rotation rail daily.
2.To ensure that the merchandising information for the store is updated.
3.To anticipate all the materials required to make changes in the store.
4.To continuously ensure the correct replenishment of the store.
5.to execute store changes in a quick and orderly manner.
6.To control and manage stock (both in transit and in the stockroom).
D. COMMUNICATION
1.To hold everyday product briefings with the store team.
2.To prepare and encourage the product and trend briefings.
3.To explain the merchandising and furniture display standards to the team.
4.To continuously report on his/her work to the store managers.
5.To provide specific and additional support to the store managers.
6.To pass on product information – feedback (his/hers, the team’s, customers’, etc.).
