Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION JOB DETAILS, SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITY
» appropriate candidates will be interested in and practiced in delivering projects and work packages all over all phases of a project lifecycle. Candidate will need demonstrate a clear knowledge of the project lifecycle.
» appropriate candidates can have backgrounds and practice in construction, design engineering, process engineering, project management, facilities management in projects varying in size, type and scale.
» functions will involve the monitoring and management of day-to-day operations of the project or program, including developing short and long-range targets, everyday activities, safety, quality, financial controls and reporting and coordination of all stakeholders and subcontractors.
» Candidate will need to plan the work schedules and efficiently organize the project activities in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines.
» contact with consultants and sub-contractors engaged on the project and provide weekly reports on all safety, quality, time and cost issues connected with the works. Candidate will be responsible for all administration responsibilities on the project depending on size and complexity.
» Will attend regular meetings with clients, consultants and contractors and ensure meeting minutes are recorded and issued in timely fashion i.e within 48 hours of meeting.
» Resolve technical difficulties and other issues that may arise. Candidate will need to be able to communicate to C&W senior management concisely and confidently and ensure solutions and contingencies are provided for each technical problem faced on projects.
» Manage contractors to supervise the day to day delivery of projects within different delivery models and provide daily/weekly reporting.
» Responsible for the EHS implementation and performance of the project. Ensure the EHS provisions and requirements are adhered to by all clients, consultants and contractors
» Review EHS procedures and requirements, other EHS issues and recommendations for improvement on EHS issues. Provide feedback EHS matters or information to senior management for each project site
» Ensure that all statutory requirements of the Regulations, Codes of Practice and company’s safety rules & regulations are complied with at all times.
Job Requirements » Degree / in Civil Engineering / Mechanical & Electrical Engineering / Architecture / Facilities & Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Structural Engineering.
» 0-5 in building construction/ engineering/ interior fitting outworks.
» Candidates with more of practices will be considered for higher level (i.e. Manager/ Senior Manager)
