2 years contract (Possibility for contract renewal / extension)

Job responsibilities: » Responsible for implementing applied research agenda to steer R&D efforts to achieve the following results for the building and infrastructure space
» Enhanced design and construction productivity; reduced life cycle operations & maintenance costs; and Sustainable developments
» Participate and manage research projects, in different phases of development (R&D) (e.g. basic research, conceptualisation, development, pilot trials, test-bed, and deployment)
» Evaluate the effectiveness and scalcapability of the developed solutions at each phase, with the aim for full scale deployment
» Involved in the formulation of the research programme and strategy of the respective focus areas
» Responsible for the evaluation of new proposals to ensure alignment with the objectives and desired results
Requirements: » Master of Science (MSc, M.Sc.) / Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical, Electrical, Geotechnical, Civil & Structural (C&S) / Building & Infrastructure (B&I) engineering
» Currently pursuing Local University in PhD / Masters programmes in the following: Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Geotechnical Engineering will be considered
» Professional / Practicing Engineer who are interested in research projects
» Good communication expertise and able to work independently and in teams
