Requirements: - Diploma in Biomedical Science or Equivalent
Responsibilities: - Assist in the processing of daily coroner cases, from the preparation of cases to the release of body to the next-of-kin or undertaker.
- Provide assistance to the pathologists conducting post-mortem examinations and forensic autopsies of human remains.
- Maintain autopsy suite in a manner that ensures a safe workplace free of biohazards
- Respond to any possible biosafety breaches in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in the monitoring of supply and usage of mortuary supplies, instruments and equipment.
- Maintain ample mortuary supplies at all time so as to ensure proper functioning of the mortuary and emergency readiness.
- Monitor the security and safety of the facility.
- Maintain functionality of the security system and to respond to any possible security breaches in a timely and efficient manner.
- Cross-train in other functions of the department.
