Business Function Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. Responsibilities Maintain consumer credit SAS Data Mart to ensure:
- successful completion of month-end and daily batch-jobs. This includes monitoring and communicating batch status to key stakeholders, checking batch logs for errors and determine the remedial actions based on impact analysis, and performing basic data quality checks.
- successful User Acceptance Testing and Live Verifications while observing strict Change Management process (from raising change request to code promotion and post-implementation review).
- continuous improvements of automated SAS codes and processes. Constantly evaluating existing BAU process to identify areas that require improvement, then propose suitable solutions.

Support Credit and Business managers to ensure all system projects and enhancements are delivered in accordance to business requirements/solutions, within stipulated budget and timeline. Contribute to projects / initiatives, from requirements gathering, Functional Specs review to SIT/UAT and Live Verification. This requires familiarity with consumer credit loan systems and customer account management systems for both secured lending (ie. LEAPS ORIGINS, Finacle) and unsecured lending (ie. VisionPlus or equivalent), as well as Collection Management Systems (ie. Debt Manager, Aspect auto dialer). On top of the above, you are required to provide guidance to users in drafting system test scripts, co-ordinate testings and reviewing test results on behalf of RMG-Consumer Credit.
Attend to ad-hoc requests from Risk Analysts with regards to data and to ensure timely and effective resolution to all Credit Bureau Singapore related investigation and enquiries from both internal customers (ie. Call Centre, Collection) and external customers.
Handle system requirement for credit bureau uploading, perform UAT and resolve loading rules issues.
Familiarity with data discovery and visualization tools such as Qlikview as credit dashboard analysis tool for regular reporting and ad-hoc risk analysis.
Requirements - Degree in Business Administration, Computational Science, Computer Science or any related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' total working experience.
- Experience dealing with credit systems and processes. Exposure in Credit Risk Management environment is an advantage.
- Experience in SAS environment, with strong SAS programming capability. Proficient in SAS programming skills and SAS application suite.
- Experience in SDLC (Agile/Waterfall), UAT and project management processes.
- Strong command of SQL and databases in general.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
