Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Listing description
» Assess regulatory risk and evaluate controls for proposed new products and service processes.
» Provide compliance reviews through the monitoring of compliance with regulations
» Supervise and perform compliance work according to Compliance plan and compliance program.
» Ensure that compliance reviews are completed timely and properly documented.
» Update the respective Group’s policies and procedures to align with those rolled out by Bank Group Compliance.
» Identify compliance issues, risks and highlight to Head of Compliance and provide solution to these problems. Discuss major issues on timely basis with line management.
» Co-operate and contact with internal auditors, external auditors and regulators, monitor progress of issues raised by them
» Conduct transaction surveillance
» Co-ordinate investigations and responses to exchanges and regulators
» Develop and update compliance work programs and monitoring tools. Updating and maintenance of the respective policies and procedures.
» Assist the Head of Compliance to promote the continuous improvement of compliance with regulations, policies and procedures, risk management and control processes. Share with and communicate to team members and stakeholders appropriate “best practices” and compliance benefits. Job Requirement:
» At least 5 years of working practice in Compliance, Trade Surveillance and Regulatory Risk.
» Knowledge of Securities and Futures Act, Financial Advisors Act, SGX requirements, banking and financial services laws and regulations, securities and futures practices, compliance best practices and knowledge of financial products and systems
