CIRC wishes to appoint a Manager who is an expert in cardiac imaging and analysis to lead onsite cardiac studies using PET, MRI, CT, or hybrid imaging facilities. The incumbent is expected to develop an independent cardiac programme, mentor junior staff, as well as building collaborations with clinicians to carry out translational clinical research.
Provide strong execution of scientific goals with appropriate attention to meeting performance indicators
Manage and develop scientific collaborations with academic and industry partners
Oversee daily activities of the team and its operations
Provide effective administration and leadership skills to the department
Oversee workflow processes required to accomplish the organisational and departmental goals and objectives
Oversee junior staff which includes career development, performance management, team cohesiveness
Qualifications PhD in medical imaging/analysis or equivalent with three years of postdoctoral experience in cardiac imaging, PET-MRI image analysis experience preferred
Expertise in the following areas: cardiac imaging, image analysis, computer science and engineering, statistical analysis
Good programming skills in Matlab, C++, Python, ITK library
Familiarity with Siemens MRI, PET-MRI, and CT scanners would be an advantage
Proven record of research excellence as demonstrated by first-author publications, grants, awards, and presentations
Effective communicator and demonstrated leadership skills in managing a team
