Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION salary's Actuarial team aims to create exponential value and cultivates a dynamic learning culture. We are a strong partner in enterprise-wide digitization and data initiatives. We are seeking for a Deputy Vice President to supervise a team of five, including a manager. The function will be reporting into theChief Actuary to lead the company wide implementation of new business value with the respective business owner. The responsibilities includes but is not limited tothe following:
» Internal Financial Reporting and project
» Par Fund Management
» Prophet model management
» Data analytics
» Support Chief Actuary on ad-hoc/confidential projects, and in performing her function in the Investment Committee
» Qualified actuary with life insurance or consulting background. Minimum 5 years post qualification practice, with good managery practice.
» The individual is expected to be adaptable and open to a dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working
» Excellent problem solving expertise
» Willing to challenge status quo
» Able to work well with others as a significant amount of independent interaction with other departments is required
» Must be independent and creative in developing appropriate solutions or alternatives to problems, and effectively communicating related issues and results to stakeholder
