The Centre for Future-ready Graduates (CFG) is established by NUS as a first-of-its kind centre developing programmes that contribute to holistic education to equip students for prosperous future careers, enable them to lead happy and significant lives and contribute positively to society. tasks & Job responsibilities:
» Conduct career coaching sessions to help students attain a deeper self- consciousness of themselves and career inclinations and to be empowered to explore significant curriculum, activities and careers that match their interests, values and skills.
» Develop, conduct and facilitate workshops and experiential learning programmes to equip students with self-consciousness and significant careers and workplace competencies.
» Partner faculty mentors and academics to provide continuous academic and career coaching for students.
» Establish strong relationship with employers to support them on their internships and graduate hiring needs.
» Collaborate with faculty to organise career programmes and events to equip students with industry expertise and obtain employment opportunities.
» Conduct research on student and employer needs and track the feedback and development of students.
Requirements: » A recognised Master/PhD degree.
» At least 5 years of significant work practice in teaching, research and/or human resource recruitment/management/development.
» Good track record in coaching and mentoring with personality profiling and career assessment tools such as Enneagram, Strengths Finder etc. Those armed with certified coaching skills or certifications for specific personality and career assessments will be advantageous.
» practice in conducting and facilitating personal and career development workshops that engages and nurtures students.
» Excellent organisational, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with strong capability to build communities and develop relationships and establish networks.
» Excellent problem-solving skills, creative, driven, versatile and able to work under pressure.
» Excellent capability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues and partners to meet tight timelines and achieve goals.
» Information technology savvy, proficient in computer research and database management and other computer software.
» Familiarity with social online mediums.
