Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION The Property & Casualty (P&C) department is responsible for the underwriting of risks, issue of alteration and renewal of commercial insurance policies and outward reinsurance business, claims and loss control for commercial lines business.
As an Executive in the Marine Insurance Team, you will be responsible to:

Contribute towards achieving Budget Gross Written Premium, Budget Underwriting Results and business targets
»
Expand Distribution Network
»
Arrange facultative reinsurance where necessary with approved Securities and within approved cession limits for the purpose of spreading and minimizing risk exposure, and within Contract Certainty Guidelines
»
Ensure operational efficiency, and service standards and timelines are met
»
Underwrite with reference to Underwriting Guidelines, and Quote within Acceptance Limits and Treaty perimeters
»
Maintain and develop business with existing and new customers and distribution channels
»
Work with and maintain good rapport with customers and intermediaries
»
Other tasks which may be assigned
You should have: » Degree or Diploma in insurance or Professional Insurance Qualifications
»
Minimum 2 years significant practice
»
Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite
»
Customer-centric attitude and effective in communication
»
Problem Solving and Negotiation expertise
