JOB SCOPE Summary of Job Responsibilities: * Develop strategies and implement various aspects of the Facilities Department business plan to support and align with the business objectives of MBS.
- Directors must have the maturity, experience, competency and be capable of discharging expectations of the Job Responsibilities
- Perform all duties in accordance with the policies of MBS and directives of parent company LVSC.
- Directors to be highly self-driven and passionate individuals, with excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural team.
- Be a role model particularly through OneMBS and manage the Facilities team to support MBS business objectives.
- Be well conversant with data analytic tools and harness available information to continuously improve Facilities operational efficiencies
Job Responsibilities * Establish Policies, Standards, Operating Parameters and SOPs
- Establish, Implement and Drive Strategies and Directions
- Ensure that the Facilities Department operate in compliance to current statutory requirements
- Maintain and keep current all required statutory records, certificates and licenses
- Establish effective KPIs for Facilities Department
- Develop and Coach an Effective Facilities Management team
- Develop a professional Facilities team to support MBS business objectives
- Establish and implement Facilities TMs Development and Training needs
- Manage performance of customer driven quality program
- Drive efficient utilization of Financial Resources
- Drive Energy Conservation and Consumption initiatives
- Maintain contacts with all relevant local authorities to ensure adequacy of compliance, solicit advice and seek support
- Utilise modern data management and analytical tool
- Establish appropriate management reports and statistics
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Drive new Technologies initiatives
- Execute Projects Management for CAPEX, A&A and minor improvements
- Develop long term asset and equipment replacement plan using life cycle analysis
- Support MBS Sustainability and CSR efforts
JOB REQUIREMENTS Education & Certification
- Tertiary qualification(s) in the fields of Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management and any other related field.
- Post Graduate qualification(s) in the abovementioned fields will be an advantage.
- Professional Qualification and Certification relating to the above mentioned fields will be an advantage.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite applications is a pre-requisite
- Computer literacy in CMMS, Numerical and Analytical application tools is a pre-requisite.
- Demonstration of personal commitment and curiosity to be involved in continuously upgrading one-self through various learning channels will be an advantage
- Personnel interested in the Director's position without the pre-requisite tertiary qualification but have relevant experience to that stated, may be considered.
Experience - At least 10-15 years working experience in the fields mentioned above with the last 8-10 years in a senior management position.
- Experience in Facilities or Engineering Management in the large-scale properties such as Integrated Resort, Hospitality, Mixed Development, MICE etc is a pre-requisite.
- Experience in managing a large and multi-cultural work team is a pre-requisite.
- Experience in developing a sustainable Training and Development program is a pre-requisite.
- Pre-Opening of properties will be an advantage.
- Experience in application and utilizing of technologies to drive energy conservation, process and efficiency improvement is a requisite.
- Experience in formulating and implementing Compliance and Internal Audits program is a requisite.
- Working experience in a Corporate or Headquarters environment in the related fields will be an advantage.
- Experience in application of Predictive Maintenance methodology and any other modern asset maintenance systems will be an advantage

- Competency in Asset and Maintenance Management of systems and equipment
- Competency in formulating Compliance and Internal Audit programs to meet Operational standards
- Competency in implementing Singapore standards, statutory and regulatory requirements
