Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities » Monitor and expedite all goods including food and beverage, supplies and stationeries, & other operating Equipment etc, in and out of the Hotel.
» Manage the everyday receiving and storekeeping activities.
» Communicate with the purchasing department all receiving and supplier performance issues.
» Communicate with the Hotel all receiving and supplier performance issues.
» Responsible for the distribution of documents within the Hotel.
» Input data into the Purchasing Platform as per Purchasing Platform SOP
» Ensure all incoming goods delivered to the Hotel, meet the specifications indicated in purchase orders.
» Inspect all received goods for both quality and quantity in coordination with related Department Heads before accepting delivery.
» Ensure all goods received are accounted for and properly supported with significant documentation.
» Ensure goods are promptly moved to the respective concerned department once received.
» Perform physical count of Food & Beverage stocks and expedite deliveries with suppliers to ensure that goods are received timely and in conformity with purchase orders and HACCP requirements.
» Expedite everyday deliveries with suppliers and updating significant departments on their delivery status.
» contact and closely monitor, with the Purchasing Executive, for all pending or partial deliveries.
» Responsible for recording and distributing of standard Receiving reports within the Hotel.
» Maintain all documentations in an efficient and orderly manner and ensure that their recording and distribution are completed in a timely manner.
» Perform data entry in the Purchasing Platform, and prepare good receipts documents including but not limited to Delivery Order, Proforma Invoice as supporting documents to the system reports.
» Perform inventory cycle count and stock check, including month-end and as and when necessary random inventory stock takes.
» Maintain good working relationship with suppliers and other departments. Requirements
» Candidate must possess at least a Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Professional Certificate/NiTEC, any field.
» At least 1 year(s) of working practice in the related field is required for this position.
» Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
