Leading Cook will be responsible for the preparations of all dishes ordered by in-house guests and customers.
Leading Cook will be reporting to Chef.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES » Responsible to prepare everyday buffet breakfast, everyday specials for groups and Ala-carte according to the menus.
» Responsible for proper handling on kitchen cleanliness, maintenance of kitchen equipment, freezers and chillers in good order with the correct temperature.
» Ensure there are adequate stock of food for day-to-day operations and to inform Chef on the stock level.
» Organized and provide supervision to Cooks, Commis Cooks and Pantry crew. JOB REQUIREMENTS
» Possess at least SHATEC OR ITE NITEC Culinary expertise certificate.
» Possess at least two (2) years in hospitality industry.
» Good cooking expertise in the preparation of western and local cuisines with good organizing and coordinating expertise.
» Able to work under pressure.
» Able to work on 3 rotating shifts, including Saturdays & Sundays and public holidays
» Able to start immediately.
