» Involvement with annual business plan process, forecasting, P&L, credit meeting, business travel and tradeshows
» Develops and manages sales operating budgets.
» Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
» Executes the sales strategy and ensures individual booking goals are met for both self and staff.
» Consolidate and keep updated information of competitor and market trends
» Participates in sales calls with members of the Sales and Marketing teams to acquire new business and/or close on business.
» Instill positive example and attitude among the team and be a function model
» Assess situations and plan solutions
» Ensure prompt submission of reports as required.
» Hold everyday sales briefing to ensure information are shared within the team
» Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
» supervises and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Job Specification » Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Marketing with at least five (5) years' practice in a similar capacity.
» People management and problem solving expertise
» Proficiency in MS office applications and hotel systems.
» Excellent presentation and interpersonal expertise
