The function reports to the Reservations Manage and YOU are responsible for the following; -
» Respond and to deal efficiently and politely about the hotel products and services by various channels promptly
» To ensure that all reservations are recorded following established procedures with full and clear information and that they are inputted accurately and promptly onto the system
» To maximize revenue by converting enquiries, recognising business prospects and opportunities to upsell venue services
» Determine guests’ needs and provide recommendation accordingly, upsell whenever possible
» Ensure that all reservation information in correspondences and reservations system is accurate
» Ensure that all follow ups are completed within 24 hours
» Responsible for training new hires/trainees within reservations
» To attend training sessions and team meetings as required and to be involved and contribute to these
» To carry out any other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
» Ventriloquist (Just kidding!) So what’s the requirements?
» Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent
» At least 2-3 years of practice in similar capacity
» capability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
» Strong team player expertise
» capability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
