Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION The incumbent will play a pivotal function for Community Engagement & Programme Development to foster significant and sustainable partnerships with unions, active ageing agencies, community partners and organised groups to extend the reach of U Live. He / She will be part of a team to drive community engagement as well as working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver programme results.
» To solicit new partnerships and programming development opportunities to improve branding presence, create significant community outreach and advocacy platforms as well as achieve sustaincapability of resources and financial growth for U Live
» To lead the market research and cost benefit analysis to assess the vicapability of potential new community programming and business areas in the silver market, leveraging on U Live’s existing core competencies or expanding into new capabilities
» To plan and manage the overall budgeting, resource allocations and implementation of sustainable community programming and initiatives, working in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of commitments
» To continuously track and assess initiatives and offerings for effectiveness and attractiveness, and being able to reprioritize efforts into areas where there are success and more traction.
» To supervise both practiced and new team of multi-generational staff, community leaders and volunteers to execute within given budget and resource parameters and deliver desired results
» To review and provide timely report to management on issues and opportunities
» To ensure that the department performs within the given budget and achieve the desired ROI
» Any other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by Head of Department
Requirements: - Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent with more than 5 years of significant working practice. Candidates with less than 5 years of working practice may be considered for an adjunct Manager position
- Good expertise in strategic planning, community engagement, community partnerships, event management, community marketing and social media engagement
- Has prior practice engaging the silver community with good contacts of its significant stakeholders including community partners, government and non-government agencies
- Market expertise of current and emerging active ageing-centric trends and industry practices preferred
- Have team leadership abilities and management capabilities with good networking, prospecting and negotiation expertise
- capability to operate in a fast paced evolving environment with limited resources
- A self-starter, creative and enterprising to put ideas into action
