Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Job Purpose
To ensure the safety and security of guests, associates and the hotel properties and assets through efficient and effective execution of hotel security tasks and procedures.
Principle Accountabilities » To maintain surveillance of areas that are frequented by guests and all work areas.
» To maintain vigil surveillance on the CCTV and the Fire Alarm System (FAS), inform security agent on patrol or static tasks of any unusual events immediately.
» Responsible for the security and protection of Hotel properties, guests and associates.
» To execute security procedures according to Security Operating Procedures.
» To carry out all other tasks assigned by Security Duty Manager/ adjunct Security Manager/ Director of Security.
Job Requirements » Hold valid security license
» Preferred: 1-2 years of security and safety practice and / or military / law enforcement practice, or an equivalent combination of education and practice.
» WSQ Security Certifications
» 2 rotating shifts
» Working expertise of local laws, investigation methods, OSHA requirements and fire safety and life safety codes.
