Job Summary: » The food Server's main objectives are to ensure a consistent and quality service is delivered to all guests, under the guidance of the Restaurant Captain / Restaurant Managers.
» This is the starting position towards the career progression as a Restaurant Captain. functions & Job responsibilities:
» Ensure that the Opening tasks are carried out, glasses and plates are polished and properly stocked
» Provide excellent customer service
» Ensure that the restaurant is clean and tables are set up according to standards
» Prepare the service area ready for service
» Prepare for the briefing by learning the menus and beverages
» Be alert, support the chef and other colleagues when needed
» Prepare the Mise en Place
» Be ready to carry the dishes to the restaurant
What We are seeking for Qualifications and Requirements:
» Previous practice in a fine dining environment is preferred
» Ideal candidate will have previous practice within F&B
» Profound expertise of customer service and of all beverage products.
» Micros or other similar POS system expertise is taken into consideration. Other Requirements:
» Previous practice in a similar function and within a fast paced environment; practice in luxury restaurant would be a distinct advantage;
» Exceptional service standards with attention to detail;
» Passion for hospitality with a friendly disposition to smile;
» capability to work under pressure and availability to work as part of a team;
