JOB DESCRIPTION tasks and Job responsibilities:
» Responsible for maintaining the highest level of security within the Hotel at all times whilst on duty
» Provide support to the Safety & Security manager(s) & adjunct Safety & Security Manager
» Protects all guests’ patrons and employees of their belongings
» Responsible for securing all hotel properties, staff and clientele in conformity with the procedures as stipulated in the security manual
» Enforce the Hotel’s Rules and Regulations
» Observes guest and others, patrol lobbies, corridors, back of the house areas, outlets and surroundings to detect infringement or suspicious person courteously;
» Keep a watchful eye on Luggage’s and other belongings left unattended
» Conduct investigations and keep superiors informed on accidents involving disturbance, accident, losses, thefts, etc. occurring in the hotel during their tour of duty
» Confers with superiors regarding findings, prepares necessary reports. Job Requirements:
» Completed Secondary Education or equivalent
» Previous hotel background or Law enforcement is an added advantage
» Have preferably attended NSRS or WSQ (or is exempted from attending either course)
» A strong and observant team player
