Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities
» Handles general housekeeping tasks in assigned guestrooms or public areas
» Coordinate, train and supervise Room Attendants to ensure day to day housekeeping standards are met
» Plan and prepare the roster, work schedules and assignments for thorough cleaning
» Conduct inspections regularly to ensure high standards of cleanliness
» Handle housekeeping administration work including phone calls, documentation, reports, tallying of invoices and summary for laundry/ external contractors
» Reports and assists the Executive Housekeeper on maintenance issues and inventory stock
» Supervise the linen room operations as when and where required
» Provides assistance to guest queries and resolve any guest’s feedback or issues with housekeeping
» Ensure harmonious relationships within the Room Attendants
Requirements » Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level / Certificate in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
» Minimum 1 year of Housekeeping managery practice in a hospitality/ service industry
» Candidates with Opera practice will be at an advantage
» Good communication, organising and managery expertise
» Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
» A team player who is able to work independently with a spirit of excellence
» Able to work shifts, weekends and public holiday
