Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION If you are a passionate revenue strategist with a strong business acumen and have a desire to join a dynamic and growing hospitality business, we invite you to apply for the function of Group Revenue Manager.
You will provide leadership abilities to the Group’s revenue management function and its distribution strategies. You will also develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the hotel management team to maximise all Hotels' revenue and profit, and maintain strong relationships with all distribution partners.
tasks and Job responsibilities:
» Work with management/ owner and hotel to develop annual budgets, KPIs and targets set for each hotel in the area of revenue performance, pricing strategies etc. and track such measurements.
» Compile competitive market share analyses of all hotels to determine if the hotels received their fair market share and how well they performed against their respective comp sets.
» In partnership with revenue managers and Finance, provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variance and budget comparisons
» Work with revenue managers on everyday pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and provide regular reporting to management/ owner (e.g., hits and misses, rate parity issues, etc.)
» Actively review hotel inventory with revenue managers and reservation managers, and identify areas of tactical intervention in cases of forecasted inventory imbalance/ availcapability issues
» Manage and analyse the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTAs, corporates, consortia, FIT, crew etc.)
» Where necessary, determine the type, format and frequency of reports to be expected from the hotels and to be presented to management/ owner (e.g., pace report, management flash report etc.)
» contact with E-marketing team on loading of rates/prices through our IBE
» Maintain strong relationships with key partners such as Ideas, ResNexus and WorldHotels to ensure our business is able to fully leverage on their capabilities and networks
» Develop a well-trained revenue management team who is able to effectively manage our rooms and F&B/C&E businesses
» Provide regular technical/ systems training where required/ necessary
» Other tasks as assigned Job Requirements:
» Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/ Hospitality Management or equivalent.
» Prior practice in the hospitality industry especially in sales and account management/ yield management/ distribution channel management would be advantageous.
» Strong knowledge of rooms and F&B/C&E revenue management
» Strong analytical and critical reasoning expertise
» Able to work independently and across multiple functions and disciplines
» capability to influence and work collaboratively all over the organisation to achieve objectives
» Able to travel at short notice and work for extended periods of time to meet deadlines for special project
