Job Description The role: We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Community team for 22 week internship across 2nd Sep 2019 till 31st Jan 2020. Community interns will contribute to being the ‘face’ of WeWork and create a welcoming and collaborative community environment for members and staff. The Community team ensures the buildings are fully operational and running smoothly as well drive growth and promotion amongst WeWork’s service offerings.
Responsibilities: - Work on community initiatives designed to develop connections between members, including member introductions, event support, email and print communications
- Solve member-related issues to ensure a cohesive community
- Assist with set-up and breakdown of events, including ordering food and beverages
- Prepare newsletters
- Assist with building operations and maintenance to ensure highest level of member experience
- Identify issues for escalation to the Community Lead and Community Director in order to document accordingly
- Greet people who come in for tours, track walk-ins, schedule tours, and send confirmation emails
- Prepare and distribute promotional materials to guests/potential members
- Answer “walk-up” member and guest questions or refer inquirer to additional resources
Requirements: - Currently in your final year of a Bachelor’s Degree or Polytechnic Dipoma
- Customer service, events or sales experience a plus
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy
- Passion for entrepreneurial communities
- Passion and understanding for WeWork’s mission and values
- Proficient in google suite
- Able to commit from the 2 Sept 2019 till 31 Jan 2020.
